I am delighted that you have chosen to visit our website and find out about our wonderful school. I worked at St. Chad’s for a number of years including as Assistant Head prior to taking up my first headship at another school in our Trust. It has been a pleasure to be back at St. Chad’s and immediately upon my return I was reminded of what a special place our school is. A school is more than a building; a school is a community (children, their families, staff, governors and in the case of St. Chad’s our local church also) and this is one of the strengths of our school.
St. Chad’s is a warm, welcoming and inclusive community where on a daily basis all in our school community live out our vision ‘In the light of God, we care, we share, we laugh, we learn.’ This vision also underpins our actions and decisions.
We are a community where we support all to flourish. Our children and staff are amazing and it is a privilege to work with them every day. The young people in our school continually impress the adults in school and visitors with their achievements (academic and otherwise) and their personal, social and spiritual development
We take partnership with parents seriously, and we know the importance of collaboration and working with our school families to achieve the best for your child/children. Our school families are supportive, and we have an active PTA.
